Well, the rain put an end to our plans for an OUTDOOR Sidewalk sale, but we continued on with an INDOOR Sidewalk Sale yesterday.  The store was PACKED with shoppers who were lined up to the back of the store to cash out!  I couldn’t believe how busy it was!!!!  THANK YOU all for coming out in the rain to join us at this great sale!  We had to postpone our fundraising BBQ and will be sending out details with a new date soon! 

We were able to have our face painting for the kids at the front of the store!  Special thanks to Denise from Fancy Faces who volunteered her time to come in and paint beautiful faces for the kids.  We raised over $50.00 for the Relay for Life, with the face painting donations alone!  Denise is a very talented lady and the faces she painted were truly amazing…we had Batmans, Spidermans, Skeletons, Dolphins, Beach Scenes, animals, butterflies and more!  If you need an idea for your next birthday party, you should definitely invite Denise!  Her prices are more than reasonable and her artwork is fantastic.  Call me if you would like her phone number!   Here are a few of the faces she painted for us!!

SALE EXTENDED:  In light of the rain and the fact it was a long weekend, we have decided to extend most of our Sidewalk Sale UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY!!  That’s 5 more days of savings!  Starting MONDAY JUNE 30th and then WEDNESDAY JULY 2 thru SATURDAY JULY 5th, we will continue to offer our special items marked with coloured DOTS at their sale prices.  (from 50 cents to $25.00 items, with the majority being $2.00 and $3.00 items).  As well as our bins of clearance papers at 25 cents for single sided and 50 cents for double sided.   So come on in and get some great bargains!  We have 8 tables full of goodies for you to root through!!!  You won’t be disappointed, there is something for everyone!!!

Tomorrow is our BIGGEST SALE DAY OF THE YEAR!!!  I have been working like a maniac all week marking down thousands of dollars worth of products for this huge sidewalk sale!!!  We also received some new stock, that has never seen our shelves before…all for this very special sale!  If you love our GARAGE SALES, you will love this one too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Prices starting at just 25 cents and up!

Don’t forget, our BBQ and Kids Face Painting, all in support of the Relay for Life, raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society! 

My fingers and toes are crossed that the weather co-operates for us and we can do this outside as planned!  If not, and we have rain, we will move the sale inside the store!!  So come rain or shine, I hope you will come!!!   Shop early for best selection!!!

If you haven’t checked our website out lately, we have our June classes and crops posted there now!  Be sure to check it out and sign up early, as spaces go fast these days!!!  We have a beautiful, air-conditioned crop room that is perfect for this  hot, humid weather.  (and no mosquitos either!) 

We also just announced a last minute ALL DAY CROP for June!  The date is Saturday June 21st from 9am until 5pm.  Just $20.00 and that includes a cool lunch and beverages all day!  So come in from the heat and join us for some scrappin’ time! 

Still a couple spots available for this Friday nights crop!  And don’t forget our awesome Mother/Father Double Layout Class on Monday night!
