We will have our first monthly calendar kit ready for sale tomorrow! This is January (of course!!) and it is done in beautiful shades of blues and green with the theme “Let it Snow”! Quantities are limited, so don’t miss out! Kit is $10.00.
If you stop by to pick one up, please be sure to let us know if you wish to order the February kit. It should be ready by the end of February! Don’t forget that if you purchase all 12 months from us, we will give you a free 12×12 calendar at the end of year!

Last night was our first monthly ALL ABOUT ME class and we had a full house! The ladies had a fabulous time creating their first in a series of 12 layouts. If you don’t know what I am talking about this is a great new class club we have started, designed to get YOU out from behind the camera and onto your scrapbook pages! Read our previous blog entry below for complete details.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this program, we are considering starting a 2nd club! But first we need a committment from those interested in being part of this exciting adventure! The 2nd club would run the same week as the first club but just a different night (TBA). Everything else remains the same!
If you would like to be a part of this fun new club, please email me by this FRIDAY JANUARY 31st to express your interest! If there are enough of you who respond, I will open a 2nd club! So don’t miss out this time, send me an email NOW!!!!!!

We are considering producing a monthly calendar kit and would like to get an idea of how much interest there would be! How it would work is this…..each month you could purchase a kit which would contain the supplies to create a 12×12 calendar page complete with monthly title to match. You would also receive a full colour picture of how the layout should go together. Each months kit would reflect the season or holiday occuring that month. The cost would be $10.00 per kit. At the end of the year, those who have purchased all 12 kits would receive a FREE 12×12 calendar to put their layouts on! (a great Christmas gift idea)

“ALL ABOUT ME” CLUB
Do you shy away from creating pages about yourself?? Many scrapbookers do. They are so busy recording the events of their everyday lives that they often forget that their legacy is an integral part of why we scrapbook in the first place. We have a plan to get you out from behind the camera and front and centre on your scrapbook pages!
We are excited to announce the launch of our “ALL ABOUT ME” Club!
This is a year long class program, sponsored by BASICGREY, that when completed next December will give you twelve beautiful double page layouts that are ALL ABOUT YOU!
Every month’s subject is different, in a variety of themes ranging from “A Day in My Life” to “When I was a Kid” and ending the year’s program with “A Letter to Myself”. They are interesting, fun, sometimes thought-provoking pages and all of them together provide an honest, humourous look at your authentic self!
Each double page layout features at least one technique and an interesting use of BasicGrey products, along with a variety of photo sizes.
Cost of this program is $25.00 per month which will include all supplies to complete the monthly double page layout. (You provide your own tools and ink as required). The class will be held once per month, typically the last Monday of the month, although subject to change. Class will run from 6:30 – 8:30 pm and will include “potluck” snacks that all participants take a turn providing.
Customers who sign on for the program and complete all 12 layouts will be rewarded at completion with a special year end celebration party where you will receive 2 special gifts – a 12×12 scrapbooks to hold your ALL ABOUT ME pages, and a 13th month bonus kit, absolutely FREE.
If you are unable to make a class you may pickup your kit and complete it at home with the instructions and photos provided. However, customers who miss more than 2 in store classes over the year will not qualify for the free album and extra kit.
Our first class “My Favourite Things” will be held Monday January 26 at 6:30 pm. You must register and pay for each class in advance, by the Friday before the class. This exclusive CLUB is only available to the first 12 customers who sign up and the only way to get these layout kits will be to join our CLUB, as they will NOT be sold in the store.

Based on feedback received from our 2008 Survey (which, btw, if you have not yet sent in you should do so before midnight tonight to get in on our draw for a gift card) we are going to try a SATURDAY NIGHT pizza and pop crop!
This will be held on Saturday January 31st from 5pm until 11pm and feature all the same benefits as our Friday night crops all for just $15.00.
